Paying homage to the days when arenas shined with the lights of thousand's of lighters held aloft! Toast is a band with two identities: Original recipe featuring a robust diet of our groovy originals with a heapin helpin of Jam and Enriched Formula chock full of popular hits along with our original recipe and always a helpin of Jam! Toast can mix and match for the occasion or perform all Original or all Cover shows.
Then
Having started as an all original band in July 1999, the band has continued to develop a fan base in Columbus and throughout Ohio. In the time since the band’s start, they have completed the release of their debut studio release “Codename: Hard-Hat” to positive reviews. Both the Columbus Alive and Columbus Dispatch have likened TOAST to such bands as Widespread Panic, MOE and Steely Dan, to name a few. TOAST received national press when RELIX magazine featured a review of the band’s CD in their December ’01 issue’s “On The Verge” column. The band has also received radio airplay on Columbus’ WOBN, numerous internet radio shows and Annapolis based WRNR where the CD made Bill Wright’s top 30 CD’s of 2001. The CD also features guest performances from members of Ekoostik Hookah, and The Mullins Band.

The new and improved Tribute to Arena Rock Formula features a full menu of classic rock favorites and deep cuts from such artists as: The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Pink Floyd, Journey, The Who, The Allman Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Aerosmith, Black Crows, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Uriah Heap, CCR, Eric Clapton, Joe Walsh and many more! We add our own unique flavor to each and always include a generous side of Jam!
